Masterbeat.Com Launches - Interview with Hosh Gureli and Mindy Hamilton

January 1, 2008 launched not only the start of the new year but the pre-launch of Masterbeat.com, a new digital download site that aims to bring dance and electronica music to a higher level. Think of Masterbeat.com as the dance remix of Itunes, combining the hottest club tracks and dance remixes from both independent and major labels. With an easy to use search engine and a strong catalog, Masterbeat.com looks to be the next step in mainstream embracing of dance music culture.

Well more power to them. I look forward to trying their service out.
The biggest problem I have with buying dance music downloads is having to hop from one site to another. One song will be on Beatport. Another is at PerfectBeat. And so on and so on. And then, worse of all, another song won’t be at any of them.
If, at the very least, Masterbeat can fill up all these gaps out there, I’ll be a VERY happy consumer!
If they can eventually be a one-stop shop for every song I want, I’ll be even happier.
