Pulse 87 Brings Dance Music to New York Airwaves
Thursday February 28, 2008
On February 11th, 2008, Pulse 87 signed on to New York airwaves switching the WNYZ signal from Russian Top 40 to "dance-intensive rhythmic top 40." With taglines like "the hits with an edge for the new generation of dance," the station delivers a mix of international dance music (Paul Van Dyk, Filo & Peri, David Guetta, Bob Sinclar) and rhythmic pop music (Timbaland, FloRida, Britney, Miley Cyrus.)

I was justed on to this station from another DJ friend of mine. So far I like what I hear. I hope that the station stays away from the cheesy dance music. Yes, play House music and Freestyle but no cheese please….
Peace…
Well what can i say Pulse 87 in nyc is number 1 with new fresh and old stuff i love it. I remember the old Hot 97 when it was Glenn Friscia and DJ Scott Blackwell from freestyle, dance and House. I miss those days.
