Canadians are often overlooked for their contributions to dance music - Simone Denny, Barry Harris, Deborah Cox, HiBias, Widelife, MC Mario - all come to mind. Next up is Miss Leah Renee from Toronto who has coined what might become the hot new phrase for the texting generation - "iBF" - "Imaginary Boyfriend." The first taste of her debut CD Storybook, "iBF" is a catchy pop song made club ready thanks to hot mixes by Steve Mac and Mike Rizzo. Here's a song that has a shot with everyone from the Disney generation to the late night club kids out there. One thing though, as cute as this montage clip is - Leah is so playfully videogenic and gorgeous, how about a real music video?
