True artists don't follow trends, they reinterpret them to fit their vision - staying true to who they are yet staying current with the modern groove. With club anthems like "Mindcircus," "Ajare," and "The Gift," Way Out West, the duo of Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff have definitely had their effect on the cannon of progressive house music. While many producers/artists are making what sound like 80s records with a minor update, WOW chooses to incorporate 80s sounding keyboards while retaining their sound. While we love Omi and hope that she has a few tracks on their forthcoming CD We Love Machine, we also appreciate quality male vocalists on club tracks such as the Apollo approved Jonathan Mendelsohn who sings "Only Love."
