Dancefloors have always been open to singers who can sang (for the slang impaired - had big voices.) Danielle Bollinger was an instant sensation in dance clubs and on dance radio a few years ago with songs like "When the Broken Hearted Love Again," "Kiss the Sky" and "You'll Always Have Me." Then something odd happened with the Tony Moran-produced song "Surrender Me," originally released with Danielle singing, it was then rereleased with Debby Holiday singing. Whatever that story was, the vivacious Star Search veteran is back with the more mature sounding "The Place For My Heart." With an almost Disney-esque vibe, the pretty track serves as a great vehicle to remind us why we love Danielle Bollinger - her powerful voice which shines in the chorus. Additional remixes take the track into a more dancefloor friendly direction - DJ JST goes electro while Constantine is more tribal. One thing which I must add, as much as it pains me, sometimes its better not to release a video rather than release a bad one which manages to make such a beautiful woman look awkward with bad picture freezes.
