"Telephone," the duet by Lady Gaga and Beyonce, was an instant pick by radio stations when The Fame Monster was originally released. As the followup single to "Bad Romance," the video was released last week with much excitement - a shortform film directed by Jonas Akerlund. The Darkchild produced pop gem hit #1 on the Billboard Club Chart thanks to remixes by DJ Dan, Kaskade, Crookers and Alphabeat though a new white label remix by Electrolightz is catching a lof of buzz. Spearheaded by LA-based Rami Dearest, rapper NameBrand, drummer Kash and producer erOc, each member of Electrolightz has had a diverse musical upbringing and/or background. These guys make up the hybrid electro-dance and hip-hop group (think LMFAO - who they also toured with) that is making rather large waves with their electrified mainstream remix of "Telephone".
