Kaskade kicks off his new 2010 album with the lead single "Dynasty", with vocals from Haley. Haley is a singer you may recognize from some past clubland hits like "Move For Me" and "I Remember", as well as the fantastic solo track she did "This Is How It Goes" that was beautifully
mixed by Kaskade. Here they perform magic again in yet another transformation of Kaskade's sound. Straying away from four-on-the-floor, the focus of "Dynasty" seems not only to be Haley's gorgeous vocal contribution but also the prominent synth-work that falls around you as you listen. It is almost trance-like in its delivery. Kaskade has been a style chameleon ever since moving from Om to Ultra, having began his mainstream career with soulful and atmospheric mixes before shifting gears and driving up the energy on remixes like "Gimme More" by Britney Spears and Nelly Furtado's "All Good Things". His work with Deadmau5 showcased a softer but no less driven feel, which has again morphed here into "Dynasty". That also happens to be the name of his upcoming album featuring collaborations with Haley as well as Tiesto and Dragonette. Can't wait.
