Song of the Day: Ruff Loaderz & Cut Up Boys - "Music Sounds Better With You"

It's hard to believe that Stardust released the massive "Music Sounds Better With You" over a decade ago in 1998. The discohouse monster which sampled Chaka Khan's "Fire" was produced by Thomas Bangalter (half of Daft Punk) and Alan Braxe with vocals by Benjamon Diamond. Fast forward to 2010: Remixers Ruff Loaderz have teamed up with mashup artists Cut Up Boys to create an updated version for the Ibiza season. The new version stays quite true to the original while refreshing and updating it with a more aggressive bassline, updated electro bleeps and a seemingly new vocal. Remixes take the track in different directions with Esquire going more electro, Inner State on the house tip and Esquire subtley channeling "Strings of Life." While this isn't the most original track idea out there, I guess we should be thankful it's not "Gym and Tonic 2010."
