Dragonette's legacy is becoming that of classy synthpop that never sounds trendy or overdone. While typically charged with sexuality, Dragonette's tracks are produced in such a way that not singing along is something of a crime. When Fixin to Thrill was released, Dragonette fans let out that pent-up breath waiting for new material, and now they've recently released an EP of two new songs. Our Summer Volcano is comprised of "Our Summer", a jumpy and energetic party track that surely gets you moving, and "Volcano" which really brings down the mood. Between the two, "Volcano" is the winner as a sleeker and more classic type of track, with some house elements thrown in the synthpop which allow Martina Sorbara's vocals really soar.
