In a move similar to "Airplanes" by B.O.B. feat. Hayley Williams, Far East Movement enlist Ryan Tedder for an infectious vocal contribution in the slow-cooker, "Rocketeer". The foursome once again use the skills of people far more talented than they are to make their music appeal to a higher volume of people. Since "Like A G6" took the Billboard Hot 100's coveted #1 position, it is time to see if that was a freak success or if there is staying power involved. "Rocketeer" is a slower jam, and the Far East Movement don't really rap anything that truly sticks out. It is up to Ryan Tedder (you know, superstar producer, songwriter, and singer for the band OneRepublic - you knew that right? I'll assume so...) to carry the meat of this track and he is more than up to the task with a killer chorus that really lingers. Whether this one is going to soar to the top of the charts is yet to be seen. Remember to check out Free Wired, Far East Movement's debut album.
