Digging through the vaults, Basement Jaxx is rereleasing some of their older tracks which were originally available on their own label Atlantic Jaxx, before they signed with XL Recordings. Along with their classics they are releasing new tracks like "Dracula" - a dark-sounding electro groove, as you might expect, harsh and almost German or industrial, sounding like early Nitzer Ebb with a taste of Miss Kittin. It will be interesting to trace how their sound has developed over the years with a taste of their early DNA.
