Bad Boy Bill is definitely a chameleon with his best production work usually done as collaborations with others, similar to Far East Movement. Bill teams up with Evan Barthlomew (aka Bluetech) who is known for downtempo goa-esque psytrance and Dan Chase who has produced pop records for Avril Lavigne, Pixie Lott, and Pink; the resulting collaboration "If I Tell You" is a downtempo pop song with elements of 4AD melancholy and subtle dubtempo beats. I guess this makes Bad Boy Bill the DJ equivalent of someone like Kylie or Britney where the final song is more a result of the collaboration with a subtle flavor of the featured name. With all that said, Alyssa Palmer sounds incredible and this could easily be a crossover pop record if presented in the right way.
