This is certainly an interesting spin on any Foo Fighters song. Or on any rock song. Deadmau5 decided that "Rope" needed an edge that the band just couldn't provide, and slapped some incredibly heavy beats on it. A growling guitar and some mysterious synths open the track up and give it lots and lots of space. The mix doesn't sound cluttered, messy, or unintentional. It is dark, foreboding, clean, hard-hitting, and intense. This mix of "Rope" may induce finger tapping, walking at excess speeds, fist pumping, or nodding your head at your desk. You've been warned.
