MIAH DEN BROEDER featuring THEA AUSTIN - Just About Had Enough - OK, try to keep up. Ellis Miah (from Orange Factory) and Jody den Broeder (who works with Thunderpuss) team up with Thea Austin (who did "The Worst Thing For Me" with Chris Cox of Thunderpuss) and the results are what you would expect...a peak time monster! Now, how to connect them to Kevin Bacon.
DJ PIERRE & DAVID MORALES - Make It Hot (Barry Harris) - Toronto's favorite son, Barry Harris (of Thunderpuss) remixes a percussion driven gem that will have everyone screaming their heads off. The best thing he's done since "Dive In The Pool".
LEANN RIMES - We Can (Piper/Widelife/Todd Terry) - Country music's little diva who could gets the remix treatment from a new kid on the block. Piper are Tommy Dorsey, DJ Ron Slomowicz and Lenny Bertoldo and what a brilliant debut it is. Their production perfectly sets off Ms Rimes beautiful voice. Already getting rave reviews in England, this mix is going to go over gang-busters in North America. I'm sure we're going to be hearing a lot more from Piper. Excellent!
BLU CANTRELL - Sleeping In The Middle (Mike Rizzo) - Another floor-filler from Mike Rizzo. Ms Cantrell pointing out that sometimes it's better to sleep alone. Hmmm. Excellent production, catchy vocals and driving rhythm.
SARAH BRIGHTMAN - Harem (Hex Hector/Manny Lehman/Robbie Rivera) - If you like Sarah Brightman, you're going to wet yourself over this one. Hex goes for the pretty tribal treatment, Manny gives it the driving circuit sound and Robbie goes dark. Expect drag queens doing The Dance Of The Seven Veils at your local watering hole. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
MADONNA - Hollywood (Victor Calderone & Mac Quayle) - Thank God for Victor Calderone! Madonna could fart on a record and he could turn it into a dance-floor monster. "Hollywood" is a case in point. He's taken a fairly mediocre song and created a driving, synth-laden extravaganza that will have everyone dancing their buns off.
PET SHOP BOYS featuring KIKI KOKOVA - Love To Love You Baby (Superchumbo) - A cover of the Donna Summer classic, PSB jack-up the tempo and Superchumbo gives it his patented remix treatment. Bangin'!
ORANGE FACTORY - White Horse - Speaking of covers, this was originally done by Laid Back in 1983. Twenty years later and Orange Factory pump out big room magic. Nostalgia at it's best.
GAUDINO featuring CRYSTAL WATERS - Destination Unknown - Built around a sample from Modern Romance's 1981 classic "Everybody Salsa", this filtery house track shows off Ms Waters' vocals to perfection. And when the horns kick in I'm young again.
JAVITH - Feel The Drums (Peter Rauhofer) - Huge tribal monster. Banging percussion and driving synth stabs will have the boys sweating up a storm. Irresistable!
