I opted for a Coca-Cola, but with a twist of lime to match the color scheme, and I played the part of TED SCHMIDT from the series, being the typical wallflower who is just a passive observer secretly yearning to let it all loose like BRIAN KINNEY. For those whom are not familiar with the Showtime series, BRIAN is the one guy from the show that everyone wishes they could be: A cool stud who lives life with no excuses, no regrets! But luckily for me, a tall, beautiful drag queen named "DEJA" was able to bring me out of my shell to dance, and then before I knew it, I found myself slowly towards the center of the dancefloor with people dancing with me and all around me. That's when I realized what Babylon was all about: Unity, Pride, the chance to throw caution to the wind, and just have a great time and let yourself go!

I highly recommend every QUEER AS FOLK fanatic, gay or straight, to go to the website to find the Showtime Future Babylon Tour near a city near you! I guarantee that you will undoubtedly experience the magical fantasy that is BABYLON!

As for those of us who had the fortunate experience to be a part of this colorful, mesmerizing, and euphoric evening, we wished the night would last forever! However, in the real world, all good things must come to an end. But for those who follow QAF, "Did you know that for one brief moment on May 8th, 2004....BABYLON BECAME ORLANDO?"
