Emm: Do you have a tour coming up and are you going to be doing any dates in the US?
Agent K: Maurice at a Giant Step was asking me if I wanted to do a DJ tour. I'm not really a DJ, but I have been practicing now and again in my bedroom. I can mix, so I thought why not? If they want to ask me to DJ, might as well as a DJ because I know tunes; I know how to make people dance.
Emm: What other projects that you're working on?
Agent K: Well there's the DKD, which is nearly finished.
Emm: DKD? That's you and Dego MacFarlane from 4 Hero and Daz-I-Kue?
Agent K: That's right. And I'm working on just a few bits and pieces of remix work with the Bugz. And I'm also working on a new solo album. And I also need to start working on my next twelve. I haven't put out any music for a long time, so I have to get busy and get out there. Because the longer you leave it, it's harder to get back into it. People can be so quick to lose touch with you if you're not always out there.
Emm: Are there any artists that you would like to work with in the future?
Agent K: Well yes, there's a few, Ed Motta, Patrice Rushen, some hip-hop boys like Method Man and Redman. I'd love to work with Tribe Called Quest, but they're long gone. There's some bad people over in the states that I'd love to work with. I've just got so much music that if I was over there I would want to hook-up with just the best people. I think America is the missing link for me. It's the land of music; and there's so much talent and so many good musicians there. I just need to get over there as soon as possible really.
Emm: It's funny that you say that because, I feel the same way about London. It seems like things are just exploding over there.
Agent K: Oh yeah, there is a stupid amount of talent in London, it's beyond a joke. I just need to get over to America because I think there are people over there that I need to meet.
