DJ Ron: Where do you find the beautiful girls for the videos?
Galleon: Ah! You want the address or the phone? It was not the casting - I met her in a famous club in Paris, The VIP room near the Champs-Elysées, and she was dancing round the track. The track worked before the video, you know?
DJ Ron: Oh yes.
Galleon: It was a big hit in the clubs, and I saw her and she was so natural. You have a lot of wonderful and attractive women in Paris, but we wanted something different - not just a girl with big tits. Like a lot of videos, we wanted something natural, something special and Jitca, because her name is Jitca, was perfect for the video.
DJ Ron: Yes, she was. How was how did Beatstock go yesterday?
Galleon: It was incredible, such a big show for me, it was incredible, like a dream. The direction was very good, but I'm looking in because five minutes after the show, after my performance it was raining a lot and the show stopped, so I was a lucky man. I hope it's not because of me.
DJ Ron: Although after you go on stage, what could follow you?
Galleon: Yes.
DJ Ron: Was this your first American performance?
Galleon: Yes, it was the first performance, so I'm so proud to be here. Of course, we're not expecting such a success in Europe, but in United States, it was impossible for me. I know dance music is very hard in the United States.
DJ Ron: How did the crowd react to you - the Americans versus the European crowds?
Galleon: The direction was pretty good. I know my music is different because yesterday I was very surprised to hear dance American music. It's like a German dance track, it's more eurobeat, in French we say eurobeat, and I was very surprised. And the direction was pretty good because American people like rock and pop and in Galleon you have a lot of pop songs, like guitar players, so it was a good reaction.
DJ Ron: Was this the biggest crowd you have ever played in front of?
Galleon: The biggest crowd, I think it was in Las Palmas in Spain. It was seven thousand people, it was so big. It's very strange, because for me it's easier to play in front of seven thousand people than just ten people.
DJ Ron: There's more vibe there.
Galleon: Yes, I think it's easier.
DJ Ron: Dance music is right now dominated by female vocal songs - do you think people react differently to you because you have a male singer in the artist?
Galleon: Yes, I don't really agree with you because now people are used to hearing male voices since in the past three years there's been Daft Punk, Stardust, and Modjo. And usually people tell me my voice is like a pop voice, like an old band like Duran Duran or Doobie Brothers, so I'm very proud. I think dance music has changed now.
DJ Ron: It's a good change.
Galleon: Yes.
DJ Ron: So where is the Wanda Lounge?
Galleon: Wanda Lounge is just the name of the producer of the video clip. It's not a place, it's not a special place.
