RS: How do you choose songs for your compilations?
JC: I imagine what I want to say people through the words of the tracks and beats! It's a process of bringing a lot of extra vinyl to some of my gigs and experimenting with the crowds. When they go nuts I write the track down and it's a keeper.
RS: Everyone has a favorite song... not necessarily of the moment, but one that they always "come back to" over time... what's yours, and why?
JC: Anything by Donna Summer! Her voice is amazing! I love the words, too.
RS: What do you listen to when you are not spinning?
JC: Cirque Du Soleil "Verekai" presently. It's beautiful! I also love Sarah Mclachlan, and Dance Music is always in heavy rotation.
