Incentive Records is one of the biggest and well known UK dance record labels to come about. They have released such influential records as Hi-Gate - "Pitchin," Freefall featuring Jan Johnston - "Skydive (I Feel Wonderful)," La Rissa - "I Do Both Jay and Jane," and Blank and Jones - "DJ's, Fans, & Freaks" to name a few. Their newest release is soon to join them on this list. 10 Revolutions is an underground bootleg classic that has finally seen the light of day on full release. This awesome track mashes up two of the greatest tracks to come around in a while. Members of Mayday's "10 in 1" and Superchumbo "Revolution" are blended in beautiful harmony and it is easy to see why this had to make release. The CD contains three incredible mixes of this catchy song. On the original, the Revolution bassline and vocals are kept in tact with the added bonus of the "10 in 1" catchy synth rhythm. When it breaks you get the great break beat section from "10 in 1" that builds into pure ecstasy. Lambert & Havel put the funky house touch to it on their Get Out of Jail 2003 remix.
It features a chopped vocal of "Revolution" and a funkier bassline while still incorporating the now famous sounds from "10 in 1." The vibrant vocal plays beautifully to the funkier sound of this remix. This track gets the tech/trance rework on the Thorn remix. It has some horn sounds with a tranced out break and a bouncy hook. Where in all the other tracks used the "10 in 1" hook verbatim, this remix features a modified version of the original which fits this mix to a t. If you have ever heard either on of these songs you will respect what they have done with it. If this is the first you are hearing about these tracks, go out and get this CD right away.
