Well it's about time! I don't know about you but I've waited forever for Basement Jaxx to come out with there 3rd Album and new single ever since the outstanding sophomore album "Rooty" came out. The new album picks up where "Where's Your Head At" and "Get Me Off" left off. So as we pick it up on the new "Kish Kash" album we start with their 1st single "Lucky Star". This is a combination of House, Punk and Funk with Dizzee Rascal providing the awesome lyrics. This also gives a little Middle Eastern flavor to it, which is something new for Basement Jaxx but yet still works very smoothly. The Extended Mix is the same as the original album version but with an intro and outro. Very simple yet very effective. The House Mix takes the album version and gives it more of a laid back approach but still keeps the power of the track for peak hour play. The Jaxx 5000 Dub is totally wicked and takes the original to the next step and will definitely garner a lot of attention and airplay for all you mixshow jocks. For those Drum & Bass heads there is a Part 2 12, which includes the Dillinja Remixes including the Vocal and a Dub Mix.
With the Basement Jaxx back in full effect it's time for those of you to choose your poison and drink it with pride. The Jaxx are back!
