Basement Jaxx Featuring Lisa Kekaula - Good Luck

The Basement Jaxx follow up their first single “Lucky Star” with the first track on their new Kish Kash album with “Good Luck”. However, this second single is being released, as an Import only while the domestic second single will be “Plug It In.” More on that single later. This single is a perfect uptempo rhythmic track with awesome breakdowns and has a nice little old school flow of some Motown flavor. Lisa Kekaula is absolutely perfect for this track and flows flawlessly. This is a two part single as well. Part 1 includes the Club Mix and Dub Mix compliments of the Underwater master Tim Deluxe who also did a remix of “Do Your Thang” on there recent Rooty album as well. This Part 1 also includes a previously unreleased track called “Mere Pass” which is worth checking out. The Part 2 single includes two Drum and Bass remixes by Roni Size with a Vocal and Dancefloor Mix. I personally believe that the Drum and Bass mixes fits this track the best and could possibly rank up there with Kosheen’s ”Hide U.” While this is making tons of noise overseas if you are a true Basement Jaxx fan like I am you don’t want to miss out on this Import Only track cause it may not be released as a single as a Domestic.
