Tango!! That will be all that you can think about after hearing this song (and seeing the back of the cd). Bob Sinclar has turned out a Spanish flavored house track that has been released stateside with a dose of *69 remixing.
For those that dont know Bob Sinclar, a pioneer in the French house music scene, is the proprietor of a ground breaking label Yellow Productions. More than just a DJ, he has been rumored to also beo a Monte Carlo card shark, Riviera playboy, Studio 54 bellboy, high-class gigolo, hardcore porn star, a spy and jewel thief to name a few.
In this installment Bob gets a full on rework from the *69 team of G-Club (Gerald Ems), French Canadian Menimal, Angel Moraes, That Kid Chris, Midnight Society, and Airmale as well as the radio and original mixes. G-Club comes out the box with a filthy dirty house mix brimming with horns and Caribbean percussion which compliments this elegant track so very well. Next up Menimal brings in a blend of what sounds like an Atari 800 and a tech house groove, which is very interesting, indeed. Angel Moraes belts out a tribal, twisted version of Bobs groove which no New York club will have a problem playin. That Kid Chris brings forth a darker, deeper version of this dance floor filler that takes a very minimal approach on this mix. This mix is pure bliss and perfect for any late night club session. Midnight Society Productions gives their Ova Dub, remixed by Curtis L. Atchinson and Erik Reyes. Kudos to them for a tranced out mix that keeps the same fun and exciting feeling of the original. Bringing up the rear is *69 mainstay Airmale. His electro, analog techno track is a beautiful way to wind down the disc.
The mixes are so diverse it could almost be mistaken for an artist cd. Whether you are a DJ in need of something special or you want to see how different one remix can be from the next, go cop this disc right now. I must wrap it up by saying I Love Bob Sinclar, J'Aime Bob Sinclar.
