I first heard the Crystal Method's new single, "Born Too Slow," on the radio while I was driving. Or, should I say, speeding while it was playing. Needless to say, I could hardly wait for it come out. Unfortunately, I wish I had. The remixes of this great song are too slow and most are outright flat. Don't get me wrong, there are some good beats in there, but they are hardly worth purchasing the single for. Instead, spend your money on the album because the album version is what you are hearing on the radio. This way you will also get a couple of other really good songs for a few dollars more (at least while it is still on sale). And I do mean a couple, as the album, "Legion of Boom," is not all that impressive either. But with the current price of singles, you are not spending that much more. Personally, I am hoping to find some remixes of "Born Too Slow" that live up to the high bench mark set by the remixes of their classic "Keep Hope Alive."
