Tony Moran - Global Groove: Clubland 2

The order of the day on this mixed CD is 4-to-the-floor house music with a Latin edge and an occasional dash of progressive, and it is quite nice. Legendary Producer/DJ Moran (of Cover Girls, Becky Baeling, Sa-Fire, and the classic early days of circuit music fame) offers up a nice variety here, with his new mix of Baeling's "Getaway," the Reina/Sicilian collaboration "Vivo per Lei," and the Italo Guru Josh ripoff "Together" by 6th Element as the high points. But do not think this is a release that just coasts on its great tracks and licensing coups. Tony turns this out, keeping the vibe varied but always pumping, making a CD that is accessible to occasional house fans as well as satisfying to even the most picky of circuit queens.
