Can the 3rd time be a charm once again? Only time will tell as Iio releases there 3rd single in as many years. One thing Ive noticed about Iio is there ability to have their singles reach an audience over an extended period of time. In this business, some singles only have a shelf life of a couple of months. Ive noticed that Rapture started in the Fall of 2001 and was played all throughout 2002. There second single At the End started in the Winter of 2002 and was heard all over the world in 2003. As this single was released in the Fall of 2003, does that mean this will be heard all throughout 2004?
Not sure, one thing that is sure is that due to there recent success on there first two singles, the remixers lined up at the door that extended all the way around the corner. From the looks of the CD single I received, it almost plays like a full CD there is so many remixes on there. The line is as follows, The Original, Pig & Dan, Blackwatch,
Steve Porter, Airbase and Formula Pop all with Radio Edits. The club mixes are the Original, Pig & Dan, Steve Porter, Blackwatch, Airbase, Ambient are all the club mixes and Im sure more will come our way in the future. The most important clue to look at is the variety of radio edits. It shows they are serious about sending this to radio and give them plenty of options of mixes to choose from. The mixshow DJs are already all over this. So I think it?s pretty clear to the future success of this single. Iio hits the Grand Slam with their 3rd single.
