As if we werent shocked enough when In-Grid exploded on the dance music scene with her international hit You Promised Me (Tu Es Foutu), she comes right back and kills the sophomore jinx that most artists tend to get after a huge ground breaking hit. In-Grid has the right formula for success and people should take note of this in the dance industry. She is marketing herself as she puts her face to the music. Most dance artists dont have a face, an argument that never seems to end. She has a full-length album called Rendezvous. You need a full-length album these days. Sometimes doing singles just wont cut it. It tends to give you a shorter shelf life and people wont tend to take you seriously as a true Artist. Not to mention she has the marketing back up that people desperately need. And if that wasnt enough, she has the DJs support solely based on her music.
This new single is already starting to make its way to radio as Sirius Satellite Radio/The Beat 66 was one of the first to jump on this single. As far was remixes are concerned, the Original Mix will do just fine as it follows the same style as her recent single. If youre a remix junkie check out the Gambafreaks vs. Ill Sound Academy. I expect more remixes to come in the near future, but if it isnt broke then just fix it. If you like to hear the artist in theyre true nature, then I suggest keeping it real with the Original Mix.
