Lucas Prata - Never Be Alone

Mr. Independent strikes again! The man we all know as Lucas Prata is back with his second single “Never Be Alone” to follow up his first hit “Lets Get it On” from 2002. This is starting to get big in a hurry with the main push coming from The Beat on Sirius Satellite Radio courtesy of Program Director Geronimo.

With virtually no promotion backing, Lucas is a one-man machine literally doing almost everything on his own. His talent and potential is matched only by his heart and passion for music is the main reason why the Mixshow Jocks show so much love and respect his way as they continue to support him through thick and thin. There has always been a question lingering around that Lucas has answered twice himself. “Can an unsigned or independent Artist make his or her way on the radio if they have a hit on their hands”? Obviously, the answer is yes although it is not always the standard.

Having trouble getting his music signed, Lucas formed his own Label “Yo Pal Records”. A catchy name indeed with some people saying the logo slightly resembles the old logo from Nervous Records. Basically my point is this has the potential to be the start of something currently in the making that needs to be watched closely.

The Remixes are superb as the line-up leads off with the main mix coming from Mr. Mig followed by Johnny Rocks, Klubbjumpers and Valentin. There is even a Ballard Version for all you chillout type heads. Having gradually gain support for this new single, it’s only a matter of before Lucas breaks through the independent barrier and hits it big.
