Simply Red - Fake

As far as the dance community is concerned, Simply Red is back in a big way. This is the perfect follow up from their recent number one smash “Sunrise”. This follows the same formula for successes that they’ve been accustom to for years. So obviously there is no reason to be worried. For some of you are young like me probably don’t even realize that half of the songs we grew up to were from Simply Red. So in a way, it’s our chance of being nostalgic of the good old days. As far as the mixes are concerned, there is good news and bad news. The good news is there are plenty of mixes to choose from and one mix is an absolute knockout. The bad news is for those of you who loved the Love To Infinity Mix on “Sunrise” might be disappointed. I personal feel they failed to deliver on this one. The best mix that is getting all the attention this time around is the Phunk Investigation Mix. It’s a total work of art.
With it’s disco beats, luscious breakdowns and not to mention the vocals and lyrics on this just takes the icing on the cake. There is also a Phunk Investigation Elettica Dub Mix to go along with the Extended and Radio Edit. For those of you who still like the Love To Infinity Mix gets the Club Mix and the Classic Ready Edit. This new single may have taken a while to catch on, but that’s only because we were all still stuck on “Sunrise”. Well, as the sun starts to set on that record it’s time to stop being fake and get your ass on this awesome single.
