Jay Jay Johanson has landed on earth bringing his outerworldly fusion of disco and electroclash. Imagine Howard Jones channelling Ziggy Stardust and updating Xanadu for 2003 and you might get an idea of the music.
"Automatic Lover" is the big hype track since it has been featured in the 2Xist underwear commercial and its instant hooks and refrains from "Tommy" will entice you on first listen. AL joins the other pop tracks on the album "Deja Vu," and "On the Radio" as futuristic disco tracks that highlight Jay Jay's gentle voice which transcends the girly boys we are currently being subjected to on the radio.
Quite intriguing also are the broken beat tracks...
