The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the premiere European dance music conference, will celebrate its 15th Anniversary Edition from October 20th-23rd, 2010. With a focus on the digital music world, globalization (new focus sessons on India, Brazil and Turkey) and what's coming next, the event is an incredible networking opportunity for professionals in the dance music industry.
With the 4 day registration passes sold out three weeks in advance, the 2010 ADE conference (day time program) will reach 2500 people from more than 60 countries. The festival (nighttime program) will feature 165 events at 44 venues reaching an audience of more than 100,000 people.
The 2010 night time program will feature DJ sets from: Paul van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grand, Sven Vath, Sasha, Riva Star, Richie Hawtin, Sander Kleinenberg, Josh Gabriel, Martin Solveig, Radio Slave aka The Machine, Ferry Corsten, Kevin Saunderson, Chuckie, Todd Terry, Paul Harris, Kaskade, Josh Wink, Afrojack, Sebastian Leger, Tomcraft, Nick Warren, Markus Schulz. and Juan Atkins. Live performers include Kelis, Goldfish, Hercules & Love Affair, Tensnake, Redshape and Kink.
Kicking off ADE will be the 2010 International Golden Gnome Awards. The Awards show started as a prank and has grown into Holland's top awards ceremony (the Dance Oscars per se). Catergories include everything from Best Live Act, Favourite International DJ, and Club with Best Soundsystem to Sexiest DJ, Worst Haircut and Best Masked DJ.
