RS: I love Liza, the DJ/producer that is. Have you done anything else with her?
Heather Leigh West: I have an album that I just finished with Valentino LaRosa called “One”, which is Alternative/Soul and very mellow. Liza did a remix of the track called "Eternal Quest." It's really cute and very high energy and fabulous. I love Liza also.

RS: You've also had another record under your name with Da Hool, "Set the Stakes High." How did you meet up with him?
Heather Leigh West: You know what, he found me. He wrote to me and wanted to know if I would record some music with him. He sent me a track, told me what he basically wanted. It was his idea for it to be called "Set the Stakes High" and he wanted it to be dirty and crazy and make no sense, but also be sexy. I took those directions and I wrote the song, recorded it, sent it back to him and it did well. We're actually doing two more records together currently.

RS: You also worked with DJ Dove?
Heather Leigh West: Yes, I did the song "Lift Me" on the label Catch22 and we just finished a new song called "Closer."

RS: I'm trying to think of what else you've sung on that we need to let people know about.
Heather Leigh West: I have a lot of stuff that's not dance music but none of it is actually fully released. I'm a writer and an artist, so I just continue to do as much work as I can and I figure I'll get it out there when I get it out there. As far as the dance stuff, I did a couple of songs with the Bodega Boys in the 90's, "Eres Tu," which is a bilingual Spanish/English song, and "Follow Me." Those did pretty well and still get played. I have a bunch of stuff that I did with an Australian producer by the name of Marne Lenoir and one of them is called Phoenix, which actually I'm going to be doing with Da Hool. He's doing a mix of it and we're going to be releasing that. There's also "Sensational' and "Inside Out" which should be coming out hopefully over the course of the next year. I'm always writing and working with as many different people as I can because I love art and I love to express myself through music.

RS: Talking about expression, what's the story with the Wet Girls?
Heather Leigh West: I have these two really close girlfriends and we were all hanging out after I performed on New Year's Eve. Everybody that was back there was going crazy for us like we were doing something, but we really weren't, we were just sitting there. They were taking pictures and they were all giggly. We figured we should do something as a group and we put together this whole bubblegum electro project called Wet. It's over the top, very silly, and we're taking it all the way to another level with a whole cartoon. We come from Planet Wet and our polar opposite is Planet Dry. My name is Halo and we have Wet Lola and Wet Prissy and we started doing tracks and we're working on an album. The name of the album is “Drenched!” and we've started performing all over New York, and soon the whole planet. Everything is about liquid, water, juice, everything is WET! Our page is TheOfficialWetSpot.com or myspace page is www.myspace.com/wet3 .

RS: What would you like to say to all your fans out there?
Heather Leigh West: Thank you so much for the love and I'll never stop. You are my reason. That's what I wanted to let them know.
