DJ Ron Slomowicz: Bi Porno Electro Punk Rapper - Now that's a description. Where did that come from?
Houston Bernard: That description came from years and years of planning, I was actually home-schooled through college and thats when all of that happened. It gives the complete and most accurate description of my music so that I can be pigeonholed and marketed to the correct demographic
Hmmm
RS: How do you describe your musical style and influences?
Houston: My style is me and I am me, therefore you are not me unless you wanna be. Im into 2 Live Crew, Basement Jaxx, Bryan Adams, sex and more sex. Did I mention that I had my libido removed? Didnt make that much difference.
RS: How much of Houston is you and how much is a character?
Houston: Character? What do you mean? This is a tricky question. Its all me, and Houston is just an excuse so I can get laid.
RS: You are gigging a lot around the country - when you do a show, how familiar are people with your music?
Houston: It depends on the show. I dont have too many club hits, but once I get there, that all changes. What I sing about everyone is familiar with, so I would have to say everyone is very, very familiar with my music.
RS: What about your performance wins people over?
Houston: My very large COCK!! My goldmember, my companion,.my friend.
RS: Do you find yourself playing more rock clubs, dance clubs, or gay clubs?
Houston: Well, I find myself playing with myself all the time and I keep trying to tell myself to stop, it is just not happening. I leave no holes barred, I play everywhere with everyone... But I love my fags!!
RS: What has been the biggest crowd you have played for?
Houston: My mom and her two dogs. Oh and the kitty, the kitty loves my shit. So, in those contexts about 2500. That was at the Garden in NYC. Actually, I performed on a float in NYC Gay Pride parade and that was a few million. Its hard to say, the drugs are taking effect... But, for real, I performed with Bryan Adams once. I did one of his songs, but he couldnt remember the words to mine and that was only about 12,000 people.
RS: Tell us one of your freaky backstage stories.
Houston: Freaky backstage stories... Hmmm Why dont you come backstage and make your own...?
