RS: So, "Let Me Think About It," was that your song, which Fedde then remixed, or did you make that song with Fedde?
Ida Corr: No, he remixed it. "Let Me Think About It" is from another album called Robosoul, which has only been released in Scandinavia. He did a remix of it.

RS: What's on the album version – is that his remix or is that the original version?
Ida Corr: That's the remix version.

RS: When you had him do that remix, did you have any idea it would become as big as it has?
Ida Corr: No, no, no. I think that every time I do a song, I'm very, very pleased with it. I'm very happy, you know, because it's like teaming with my soul. I get to do whatever I feel like at that moment, so I feel very strongly for every song that I've ever made. But imagining which one would be the big song or the big hit, I've never, never thought about that. I was blown away, and still am actually. It's much bigger than I ever thought it would be, but I just love the song so I'm just happy other people do as well.

RS: It's been really, really big here in the United States. Have you been to the United States before?
Ida Corr: Yes, but not playing. I've only been in New York once, so this is actually my first trip over here, meeting the record company and so on. I can't wait. I just love this country.

RS: "Let Me Think About It," the video – what was it like filming that video? It's different from the other videos you've done in the past.
Ida Corr: Let Me Think About It was my first high-budget video – if you can say it like that – where we actually had time and money to do it, and it was my first highly professional experience with doing videos. So it was a big learning process for me, and I had so much fun doing it. That's why I think it's different. And it's the Ministry of Sound; they had a lot to do with how it looked.

RS: Do you ever wear your hair up in the Afro?
Ida Corr: I used to, sometimes. But then, you know, I'm a girl, so I change my hairdo all the time.

RS: The guy in the video, is that the actual singer?
Ida Corr: No, the singer is a Danish singer called Bohan. The guy in the video is a dancer.

RS: So it's not Fedde, it's actually just a dancer you found to fill in?
Ida Corr: Yes. Fedde's not doing the vocals either; it's a Danish guy.

RS: You did another song with Fedde called "Mirror," for Live Earth. What was the inspiration for that song?
Ida Corr: It's a little bit like "Do You Believe." We have to find the strength for ourselves and we have to be able to look in the mirror and be proud and be strong. You have to be able to face yourself in the mirror in the morning. Live Earth was very much about everybody doing their part to make this a better place. By the end of the day people have to be able to look in the mirror and feel good about themselves and be honest, finding the strength inside. That's what it's all about.

RS: Will "Mirror" be on your album?
Ida Corr: No, actually it won't be. That was made especially for Live Earth.

RS: Your new single, "Ride My Tempo," is hot.
Ida Corr: Thank you.

RS: How did that song come about, who did you work with on that?
Ida Corr: I'm in another group as well, Sugar And The Beat Company. The producer from that group, Jeff Rogers, produced this track. It was actually one of the first tracks I've ever heard from the Sugar Beat Company, and it's the only song I haven't written all by myself. But yes, it's just an amazing thing. I loved the track, so he gave it to me. It's actually just about dancing and having fun.

RS: Is there a video coming for it?
Ida Corr: I hope so. I'm not quite sure about how we're doing it yet, but I guess I'll find out one of these days how we're going to deal with the song and what approach we want to take.

RS: Very cool. I was reading about you, and you had an album out called Street Diva.
Ida Corr: Street Diva, yes, that's the very first album I did.

RS: How has your music changed since that first album?
Ida Corr: I think that when I did Street Diva I was very keen on doing everything live – live drums, live guitars, live voice, everything had to be live. And I really experimented a lot with that. I moved a little more toward producing, and using the computer programming, but still with a mixture of this live sound. So I think that I've moved away from being one hundred percent live to programming and live and, a mixture of the two. .

RS: What's it like when you perform live, say with Fedde Le Grand, and you have a huge crowd out there? Does it surprise you when that happens?
Ida Corr: Yes, I get blown away, nine out of ten times. People are amazing, you know. People sing and they dance and they scream and they shout and they just want to really have a good time. And I actually haven't had any bad experiences, hope to get none, but I think that I'm very, very lucky with my audience. It's a very powerful audience and I'm very thankful.

RS: What would you like to say to all your fans out there?
Ida Corr: Oh my god, I hope to see you all. And I hope that they feel beautiful and strong because they all are. Just spread the love, that's what I want to say.
