RS: Talking about critiquing, I really like what you're doing
with Star Magazine in the weekly fashion column.
Lady Bunny: Well the funny thing is that my taste is quite
questionable. I like loud clothing that looks like it came from a
thrift stores with ridiculous wigs and garish makeup. So I would hate
to be put in front of that panel myself and I often like the outfits
that are on that page because they are kind of outlandish but they
don't want me to compliment them, they want me to make fun of them.
RS: Well let me put you on the spot, out of all the DJs out
there who is the best-dressed DJ?
Lady Bunny: I have to say David Morales because the less he wears
the better he looks so it doesn't take much. I think David Morales is
incredibly sexy and at the Magic Sessions, he brought his son to
Crobar and, I don't want to be too explicit because he may be under
eighteen, but let's just say that he will be a super stud of tomorrow.
RS: Of all the dance divas out there, who's the best-dressed?
Lady Bunny: Ultra Naté's got a hot style. Her recent publicity
photos are outrageous. She had a baby like six months ago and she
looks amazing. I wear- like, six wigs at a time so I tend to be a
little bit intrigued and maybe jealous of someone who can pull of a
look with no hair. She's wearing that short look and it's gorgeous on
her. Ultra has always had great style.
RS: Of course, who is the worst-dressed artist?
Lady Bunny: I hate Celine Dion's fashion sense. I don't like her
music either, but I think she often looks terrible, but I think it's
really the whole package because her choreography is so stank. She's
got those Canadian moves- she's beating her breasts, but maybe it's
right for her.
When she started her Vegas show she did it in a short, hideous wig that really brought out the witchiness of her face and I think her fans kind of protested. She still had her long hair but she just wore that short wig and pulled her hair up under it because she didn't want to be bothered doing a show every night and fixing her hair. It's rough on your hair if you have to curl it and style it but I think the fans kind of revolted, so she started using her hair again.
RS: Speaking of favorites, what's your favorite dance record label?
Lady Bunny: Defecated's the sh*t, literally. Funky, nasty, crazy
house on the Defecated label. I'm teasing, I love Defected music and
their parties. Their latest compilation is great!
RS: What would you like to say to all your fans out there, Bunny?

"It's Tonight," today!
