Tickets are now on sale for the Dance Music Hall of Fame 2005 induction ceremony. Taking place on September 19th in the Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Center, the party will feature a special reunion of the original members of The Trammps as well as performances (Gloria Gaynor, Martha Wash, Byron Stingly, Kathy Sledge Blue Notes, Bunny Siegler), appearances (Nile Rodgers, Gloria Gaynor, Gamble & Huff, Cheryl Lynn, Montel Williams, Carol Douglas, Taanya Gardner and Full Force), DJ sets and a silent auction. Showtime at the Apollo's Ray Chew will be the music director so expect a night of stellar entertainment.
