The Mayor of Chicago, Richard M Daley, issued a proclamation declaring August 10th as House Unity Day in Chicago. House legends such as Frankie Knuckles, Jesse Saunders, Marshall Jefferson, Paul Johnson, and Mickey Oliver are cited as among the moany who came together to celebrate House Unity Day at Summerdance in the Peace Garden at Grant Park.
