It has been twenty-five years since I first set foot inside a dance club. Captivated by the beat. That distinctive beat. So many songs singing about what ‘I’ was feeling inside… it was like the club was made just for me and well, 2,000 of my closest friends!
Through these years, I’ve worked in the clubs, in the DJ booths and danced on more speakers than I can remember. But besides the passion of getting ‘lost in music’ when dancing, my major love has been collecting the mixes. I’ve done a fine job at it; years & years of collecting now has the music housed in its own special room. In this room one could dig through 13,000+ CD’s/CD Maxi’s, 8,000+ 12’’Vinyl and other items. I continually find items that mysteriously appear for the first time…its way fun in there!
I’m thankful to my ‘special posse’ for their friendship and support. I am appreciative to those Artists, DJ’s and Remixers I’ve worked with/written about in the past and hope to cross paths with you again.
