DJ Jazzy Jesse is a Nashville resident who hosts the radio program, "These are the Breaks" on WRVU 91.1 FM every Saturday night from 6-8 pm. He has been a deejay for over 14 years, and for the last 3 years has focused on accumulating and researching breakbeat techno artists from England, Florida, and elsewhere. He began his radio presence at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, and has continued to perform gigs, collect over 700 cds and records, play the keyboard, and mind-mix many sessions featuring his favorite deep-female-vocal-dubby-sounds. Eureka finally occured as to why Breaks sound better when he installed three 12" subwoofers into the back of his car, which began to bounce as it moved. With musical interests ranging from house to trance to rap to indie rock and Broadway, Jesse still loves, respects, and worships the Breaks. Long live the Breaks!!
