At his core, Mike's a die-hard road cycling aficionado and although he prefers to ride his carbon Giant for the fun, sport and fitness aspects vs. racing, it's not uncommon for him to ride a 175-miles over any given weekend during the spring and summer months. Crazy, you say? Perhaps. During the week he works to live, often spending time culling together many genres of music for his own listening pleasure.
But as of July 2007, Mike decided to get involved with a local wine bar by stepping up and becoming an investor as well as the establishments DJ on some weeknights as well as on the weekends. Part of his downtime regiment consists of either researching each week's newest releases in Dance music with his discerning ear and any other 'happs in the dance music biz; playing Scrabble online; writing some random non-fiction articles, or spreading the good gospel that is his on-going association, affiliation and participation in the Gnarly Vine wine bar in New Rochelle, NY, where he's proud of the fact that he's the only "resident" DJ there.
