On February 11th, 2008, Pulse 87 signed on to New York airwaves switching the WNYZ signal from Russian Top 40 to "dance-intensive rhythmic top 40." With taglines like "the hits with an edge for the new generation of dance," the station delivers a mix of international dance music (Paul Van Dyk, Filo & Peri, David Guetta, Bob Sinclar) and rhythmic pop music (Timbaland, FloRida, Britney, Miley Cyrus.) Popular New York radio personalities Star & Buc Wild, who previously had beaten Howard Stern in ratings, host the morning show weekdays from 6am-10am.

Pulse 87 offers live streaming through their website.
