Electronic beats and tricks envelop superb musical production and clever songwriting. "Handel on Your Face" opens with classical music (Handel, I assume) and kicks into a convincing groove. Great vocals, great guitar, great everything. "I Like the Way" follows, it's more dancefloor-oriented and has gotten the remix treatment as their first single. An authentic rock sound and proper grasp of a sequencer make these tracks stand out. "Round and Round" powers through with a four-to-the-floor rockfest, similar to some of KISS stuff. "Dirty" follows, and brings more of the same raucous energy. "For One Night Only" lowers to mid-tempo with a infectious, bouncing beat and funk accents, and serves as a kind of intro track for the band. "Keep Your Boots On" will satisfy even the mast diehard AC/DC fan. "New York City Girl" is a stripped down high energy funk beat with some handclaps and a buzzing synth line. The raw appeal of this one is immediate. "Dignity" is a brutal pounding with echoes of Nine Inch Nails, maybe improving on the influence.
