Stunning Arabian singer Chantal Chamandy and her "Feels Like Love" single is impressive, and as her early formal training was under the tutelage of Opera singer Carmen Mehta, you too will more than likely experience the "love," spanning 40 minutes.
Chantal's collaboration with Chico Castillo, formerly of the Gipsy Kings, is a great match and a winner on many levels ten remixes to be precise. Singing lyrics in both Spanish and English, combined with the thumping bass lines and very cool musical arrangements and infusing various Middle Eastern influences, "Feels Like Love" is a dance track that adds a keen bravado and will assist in standing out amongst the global dance landscape, especially in MC Mario and Norty Cotto's respective Remixes.
Combining Remix Edits and their longer Remix versions as well as two Dub Mixes, the first two tracks, as remixed by Miami-based Lee Cabrera, sets the initial Middle Eastern tone and flavor. The third and fourth tracks as occupied by MC Mario's two mixes features a thicker, more pronounced European beat while The Bilz provides some middle relief and a bit of a different take with a little hip-hop thrown in for what was originally intended as a good measure, featuring Rochester a.k.a. Juice (say wha?), but I don't think the track works. Thankfully, this one is short, alas skip-worthy.
The last of the mixes, courtesy of up-and-coming Latin House mojo man Norty Cotto, adds his longer remix and dub versions as well as a remix edit. All in all, each remixer adds his own touch of flare and stylistic House sound that's sure to please even the most jaded dancing feet.
