This two-disc set offers up the perfect blend of deep house, progressive, tribal, and everything in between. DJ Vibe's delivery of powerhouse beats and minimal vocals is a lethal combination that will have you turning your speakers way up!!
By kicking things off with some minimal progressive, tribal, and even some light trance, DJ Vibe takes his time getting you in the groove and by the time DJ Harri's "Jivin" starts to play, you are ready to be hit hard. This is exactly what Vibe does by mixing in some fierce percussion and taking you on a tribal warpath, climaxing with "Dirty Sex" by That Kid Chris. The breathy female vocals and hot drum pattern will just engulf you. From there you are treated to more tribal beats until you are served one of the hottest and funkiest moments on either disc, the pulsating "La Ira de Dios" by Dr. Kutcho! The whirling sounds, rough bassline, and melodic instrumentation are the perfect way to gear you up for the second disc.
On disc two, Vibe takes it to the next level by mixing in harder and more pounding beats. The one-two punch of "Through With You" by Little Green Men and the tech-house tribal rhythms of Steve Angello's "The Look" (D. Ramirez Mix) will catapult you to the underground peak and will have you primed for DJ Vibe's own track, "Solid Textures", a collaboration with Pete tha Zouk. "Solid Textures" is without question one of the most solid progressive tribal productions to come out in the past two years and is the perfect centerpiece for this compilation. After hitting this peak on the disc, Vibe changes it up by even including an anthem, or as much of an anthem that can be found on this type of compilation, by mixing in Mr. G's "Yep I'm Ready." The disc closes out with the riff heavy "D-Clash" by Bryan Zentz and the tribal chant of "Sunshine" by Tomaz vs Filterheadz.
By using many different tracks and sounds from his tribal heavy arsenal, DJ Vibe brings you on a journey through his underground. Heavy on the beats and light on the vocals, this mixed compilation is a fresh and most-welcome addition to a tribal afficionado's collection.
