You may have been living under a rock if you’re a house head and haven’t heard David Morales’ epic comeback, “How Would You Feel.” The house pioneer teams with vocalist Lea-Lorien on a sexy, dramatic hands-in-the air anthem that is a direct sonic descendent of his legendary remix of Bjork’s “Hyper-ballad.” While retreads often signal, this one is too good to write off. The Stereo Anthem mix and dub are the primetime versions, while the extended version is a shade more intimate. A second 12” single (which is also available digitally on iTunes) features superb Peter Rauhofer remixes that pump big-room synth grandeur into the track. Forget his many middling efforts this year; Rauhofer’s “How Do You Feel” mixes are just as essential as Morales’ originals, and will only expand the track’s already considerable dancefloor impact.
