Last month I reviewed Junior Jacks "Stupidisco". This month it's only fair that I review Dave Armstrong's "Make Your Move". Now as you may or may not already know Stupidisco as well as Dave Armstrongs Make Your Move are both taken from the Come On, Dare Me sample by the 80s trio The Pointer Sisters. This or I should say they both have a nice groovy funk to it as well as a kick ass bassline as I have stated in my previous review. However, I have to give the edge to the Dave Armstrong track. Both are very similiar but "Make Your Move" packs more of a pounding house beat punch than Junior Jack. Not to mention this has been moving the dancefloors and airwaves for almost a year now as this was previously released on Import Label Fine Tune. As the Import single, the Tommy Boy Domestic release keeps the Original and the popular Antoine Clamaran remixes and new remixes are submitted by Olav Basoski and Mauel Tur. It's obvious this has more staying power and this is the single that I prefer the most with no disrespect to Junior Jack. But it's time to Make Your Move and go with the Dave Armstrong single.
