Considering how Deep Dish nailed down the "guitar house" sound with their massive hit "Flashdance," it was a clever move to remix the vocals with one of the biggest guitar riffs from the 80's- Dire Straits "Money for Nothing." There have been a stream of "Money for Nothing" remixes to come down the pike lately, and this one is called the "Sultan Remix." A deep house beat anchors the hybrid, as the flashdance vocals are cut in atop Mark Knopfler's stadium-sized guitar work from "Money for Nothing." That songs' original vocals are ditched, as Anousheh's "Flashdance" vocals are chopped and laid down. This track has a very live feel to it, something you might imagine Deep Dish would do in their sets. It's well done and has a solid house foundation as the elements intertwine. And yes, they do the big guitar breakdown for maximum drama. A collector's item for Dire Straits and Deep Dish fans alike; A fun secret weapon record for house DJs. That's the way ya do it, Deep Dish style.
