I'm excited to be reviewing yet another incredible release from Defected. This three-disc set has a collection of Latin, Global and Ibiza grooves.

The first disc, mixed by Simon Dunmore, starts off with a hot remix of Moloko with "Forever More." It continues to flow with two tracks from Copyright, "One Drum" and "We Can Rise." This disc also features great tracks from Soul Creation, Joi Cardwell, Bob Sinclar, Fish Go Deep, and Julian Jabre as well as a very catchy tune by Three Kings, "Shake Dat Booty." This disc has a Latin/Tropical sound and is my favorite out of the three. The disc has a great flow and has plenty of energy.

The second disc is also mixed by Simon Dunmore. This disc starts off with Mr. V's "Da Bump." Next is Kathy Brown's "Get Another Love," which has a great filter disco rhythm and, of course, hot vocals from a talented singer. Ultra Naté has a track here, also; it has a very familiar sample loop (SM-Trax). There are also songs from Milk & Sugar, Billie Ray Martin, Tiefschwarz, and Djamin's "Give You," the hottest track on this disc. I instantly loved this track; it has a very simple loop with just as simple vocals, but I think that's what makes it so great. It does have a very similar sound to Paul Johnson's "Get Get Down" which also was a great simple track.

The third is mixed by DJ Pippi and is the "Ibiza" sounding disc. The mix starts off with a fantastic oldie but goodie by H2O feat. Billie "You Can Run." When this song came out in 1998, I played it until my vinyl wore out. There are a few tracks on the disc that I never heard of, but which are pretty good. I like D.O.D's "1,2,3,4" as well as Don Carlos' "Alone" and Rene et Gaston's "Vallee De Larmes." It's nice to hear music that is cool from another country that you wouldn't normally get the chance to hear (thanks, Defected).

If you love the compilations Defected puts out, then this one's for you. In my opinion, I feel Defected has the order of discs correct, I like them in that exact order- number one first, two second and three third.
