Yet another incredible release from Defected; this series has become a well-recognized part of the dance music genre and always delivers! This mixed three-disc set has a collection of tracks mixed by Aaron Ross, Simon Dunmore, and ATFC.
The first disc, mixed by Aaron Ross, starts off with a hot track, from Copyright feat. Imaani, "Wizeman." This disc also features other great tracks from Knee Deep, Yass, Jimpster, Studio Apartment, and Joey Negro, as well as my one of my current favorites by DJ Gomi feat. Yasmeen, "Glad I found You." This disc is a great fourteen-track vocal house monster and will have you dancing wherever you are listening to it. A few of my favorites on this is DJ Gomi feat. Yasmeen, "Glad I found You," Yass "My Only," A blast from the past with a 2008 remix of Fonda Rae "Living in Ecstacy," and Key to Life feat. Kathleen Murphy "Find Our Way" (Muthafunkaz Remix).
The second disc is mixed by Simon Dunmore. This disc starts off with another hot track from Copyright feat. Mr. V and Miss Patty "Shake Shit Up," followed by tracks from Miguel Migs, Groove Armada, Kings of Tomorrow, and Shapeshifters to name but a few. This disc has more of a blend of house music styles ranging from vocal to electronic. A few of my favorites are Groove Armada "Love Sweet Sound," Louie Vega "Diamond Life," an African tribal sounding track by Copyright feat. Shovell "Voodoo," and Martin Solveig "'C'est La Vie."
If you love the compilations Defected puts out, then this is yet another one too add to your collection.
