Having three singles under their belt and appearing on a handful of various artist dance albums, Dyce finally releases their full CD.
Chock full of 16 tracks, all fronted by the lovely Sofia Lovgran, the group is rounded out by fellow members Frederich Wallin and Marcus Ljunggren. Fans of Lasgo, Fragma, Ian Van Dahl, etc. will love this record. Most songs here are trance in the vein of the artists mentioned above, or dance plus a few pleasant ballads.
Standout songs are "Stand Alone" with its thick synth and driving beat and "Hour Glass." It is not as heavily lavished with keys but is a strong dance cut with the strongest vocal melody in the collection. "Dangerous" fares a bit more electronica-pop, a la the Ultrasonics, with its vocoding, slower pace, and slight 80s touches.
Cascada's remix of "Tomorrow..." is longer, a little harder-hitting, and has some punchy synths pulsing through the instrumental sections. The additional two extended mixes don't vary too much from the originals except for length. A must-have album for any dance music lover.
