This disc is a blend of Swedish artist E-Type's latest two albums, Loud Pipes Save Lives (6 songs) and Euro4Ever (10). The sixteen tracks are beautifully packaged with tech-contemporary themed artwork (reworked from Euro4Ever), complete with lyrics.
The project remains upbeat with very few non-dance songs. The typical arrangement for E-Type here is female vocals on the choruses and male vocals on the verses. "Paradise," the best song in my opinion, is poised as the first full track (after "Loud Pipes..." which serves as an intro). It is full-strength high-energy eurodance right off the bat with a hot lead synth melody. Another Max Martin-produced track to watch out for is "Life," which keeps the energy rolling right out of "Paradise," another strong track with a super catchy vocal melody.
"The Predator" is a novelty song to an extent with its scary male vocal on the verse, quirky whistle noise, and bad girls' subject matter. Despite the aforementioned characteristics, it is thick with eurodance power, and you'll love its stompin' chorus and great lead synth melody. Finally, "Star" is a welcome "ear break." This beautiful ballad features Erik's vocals all the way through with the backup girls joining him on later in track as it builds.
This is a definite must-have for fans of eurodance or Eiffel 65 or for those who don't already own either original album. Airus seems to be using this two-album compilation m.o. with several artists providing a good way to have access at a domestic price to most tracks from these two pricey imports.
